Terms of Service
The ground rules for using your business workspace.
Effective November 6, 2026 · Version 2026-11-06.2
Jobsite Calendar helps coordinate construction work. It is an early service for invited US businesses, with no public checkout or automatic subscription charges. Please read the service limitations and liability section below before accepting these terms.
1. Your agreement with us
These terms govern the Jobsite Calendar service at jobsitecalendar.com, operated by Jason Hild, based in California, United States ("we," "us"). "You" means the person accepting these terms and, when that person is authorized to act for a business, that business. If you do not agree, do not accept the terms or use an account; contact us about exporting or removing existing information.
You must be at least 18, use the service for lawful business purposes in the United States, and be authorized to access your workspace. If accepting for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind it. An employee or subcontractor who lacks that authority remains responsible for their own use and should ask the company administrator to review the business's access.
The Privacy Policy describes data handling. Acknowledging it does not waive privacy rights or authorize unrelated data uses. Separately signed terms with us control only to the extent they expressly replace these terms.
2. Accounts and company responsibilities
Provide accurate account details, use a unique private password, and keep credentials and recovery information confidential. Do not share an individual sign-in. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your authorized use; these terms do not make you responsible for an incident caused by our failure to meet an obligation imposed by law.
Company administrators are responsible for inviting appropriate people, assigning access, reviewing users who leave, and ensuring they have permission to enter customer, employee, and subcontractor information. Obtain any notices, permissions, and instructions required for your company's use of that information. Ask for support if the available controls cannot complete a necessary access change.
3. Your records stay yours
You or your licensors retain ownership of the content you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, store, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise process it only as reasonably needed to provide the service, follow your authorized instructions, secure and maintain the service, and meet legal obligations. This includes necessary hosting providers and integrations you authorize. It does not give us ownership of your records or permission to sell them, advertise with them, or train AI models on them.
You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and share content. Keep your own copies of critical records, and review exports for completeness before relying on them as an archive. Company managers can export workspace business data; privacy requests can also be made through the contact below.
We retain ownership of the software, service design, and branding. During authorized access, you may use the service for your company's internal business operations in accordance with these terms.
4. Acceptable use and sensitive information
Do not use the service to violate law, infringe others' rights, harass people, impersonate someone, send unsolicited or unlawful messages, introduce malware, overload the service, bypass access restrictions, or access another company's records. Do not probe accounts or systems without explicit written authorization. Report suspected vulnerabilities through the security contact.
Do not upload Social Security numbers, government identity documents, full payment card or bank account details, passwords or access tokens, medical records, biometric identifiers, or other highly sensitive personal information. This service is not designed for regulated health records, payroll identity documents, payment processing, or secret storage. Keep notes and photographs relevant to the job. Check visible images for private documents, faces, access codes, and other unnecessary information before uploading.
5. Verify the decisions that matter
The service is a coordination and recordkeeping tool. It does not provide engineering, architectural, construction safety, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. It does not supervise a jobsite, certify that work is safe or code-compliant, verify insurance or licensing, or replace required inspections, permits, contracts, or competent professional judgment.
Dates, estimates, completion labels, approvals, and financial summaries depend on the information entered and received. An in-app sign-off is a workflow record, not a certification of workmanship or safety. Independently verify critical deadlines, payments, site conditions, and instructions before acting. Do not rely on this service as an emergency notification system or as the sole system for a safety-critical process.
6. Email, calendar, and accounting connections
Optional connections require site configuration, your provider account, and appropriate authorization. Providers may change their services, permissions, availability, or limits. Their terms also apply. You are responsible for connecting the correct company or account and approving only intended access.
Review recipients, amounts, and attachments before choosing to send email. A saved preview is not a sent message. Provider acceptance is not a guarantee of delivery or reading; verify an uncertain send before trying again. Calendar availability can change, so confirm important appointments directly.
QuickBooks imports reflect the last successful sync and can be delayed or incomplete. This version imports USD customer invoices; it does not create or edit QuickBooks invoices, record payments there, or send them through QuickBooks. Continue using your accounting system as the authoritative financial record. The service does not move money or collect payment card details.
7. Pilot availability and future pricing
The current pilot is offered without a subscription fee unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. There is no automatic conversion to a paid plan. We will disclose any proposed pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms before asking you to purchase a future plan.
Pilot storage and upload limits apply. Photo uploads are limited to 5 MB each, 20 megapixels, and 8,192 pixels per side, with up to 500 photos and 50 MB of stored photos per workspace. The pilot may contain errors and may change, be interrupted, or end. We do not promise a particular feature, uninterrupted availability, a recovery time, or a service-level agreement unless separately agreed in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material planned changes that affect your use. These limitations do not remove our obligations under applicable law or the commitments in our Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension, leaving, and records
You may stop using the service at any time. A company administrator may contact us to request workspace closure, an export, or deletion. Disconnect provider accounts when access is no longer needed.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, illegal activity, a material violation of these terms, or a legal requirement. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require action without advance notice.
If we discontinue the pilot or close an account for reasons other than urgent legal or security needs, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to request an export. Export and deletion may be limited by the rights of others or applicable law. Information is handled under the retention and request provisions of the Privacy Policy; suspension alone does not delete it.
9. Warranty and liability limits — please read
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the pilot is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, continuously available, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities arising from use of the service, even if advised of that possibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or related to the service and these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees your business paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US $100.
These exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability, statutory duty, or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They do not waive privacy rights, excuse unlawful conduct, or limit any nonwaivable right. If a particular limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the extent the law allows.
10. Questions, disputes, and applicable law
Please contact jasonhild@jasonhild.com so we can try to resolve a concern. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a right or meeting a legal deadline.
California law and applicable United States federal law govern these terms, without displacing any mandatory protection that applies to you. These terms do not require arbitration, waive a right to bring a class action, shorten a statutory claim period, or prevent you from contacting a regulator or using a court with lawful jurisdiction.
11. Updates and general terms
We may propose revised terms and will identify the new version and effective date. Material changes will be presented for acceptance before they govern continued account use; changes will not retroactively change an existing dispute. If you decline, contact us about ending use and requesting an export.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. A failure to enforce a provision once does not waive it. Provisions that reasonably need to survive the end of access, including ownership and applicable liability limits, remain in effect. Nothing creates a partnership, employment relationship, or agency between you and us.
